A Guide to Fall in Baltimore 2022

Fall is the perfect time to fill up on festivities throughout Baltimore. Knock back a few oysters and check out the variety of extensive celebrations neighborhoods are hosting all season long. 

 

The Baltimore Running Festival - October 15

Not your average fall festival, this annual running celebration offers several distance options for runners of all abilities and finishes at the scenic Inner Harbor. 

 

TasteWise Kids Flavors of Maryland - October 17, 2022

Fun and food for a great cause. The Flavors of Maryland event, hosted by nonprofit TasteWise Kids, showcases Baltimore chefs and farmers in a celebration of the foodways of Maryland. In addition to offering deliciously prepared foods and creative cocktails, the evening allows guests to meet and mingle with nationally renowned celebrity food professionals.

 

Fells Point Fun Festival - October 28 - 30

A fabulous fall experience full of food, beer, music, retail, and art vendors all throughout Historic Fells Point. All event ticket sales benefit the Society for the Preservation of Federal Hill and Fell’s Point. 

 

BARCStoberfest - October 29

This annual pet-friendly festival benefits lifesaving programs and animal care at the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter. A 5K Run/1-Mile, Walk, pet costume contest, beer garden, kids activities and more are all hosted at Patterson Park.  

 

Baltimore Craft Beer Festival -  November 5

Gather at the Canton Waterfront Park to experience more than 40 Maryland breweries, local food trucks, shopping, and live music.  The event also features live judging of the Maryland Craft Beer Competition’s “Final Table.” 

 

Ryleigh’s Oyster Fest - November 13

Ryleigh’s sits just north of Baltimore City in Hunt Valley and is a renowned raw bar in the region. The Oyster festival will feature local vendors, a massive raw oyster bar, a crush bar, food, music, and more. 

 

Halloween Haunts in Charm City

Fall festivities wouldn’t be complete with a Halloween round-up. 

Check out walking Ghost Tours in Fells Point. Held year-round, the Halloween season adds an extra spooky element to these nighttime excursions where its rumored ghosts roam the stone streets. Mount Vernon hosts ghost tours throughout the month of October that stroll past gothic architecture and the storied Belvedere Hotel.  
 

The Nevermore Haunt

Historically themed and Baltimore-inspired, The Nevermore Haunt is a haunted house located in the heart of Baltimore. Set in the late 19th century, at the site of the old Kaufman’s Store, the event takes its inspiration from the city’s dark past, featuring a menagerie of specters and spirits; drowned sailors, tortured factory workers, unlicensed physicians, street urchins and mysterious creatures. 

 

One More Time Halloween concert at the Maryland Science Center - October 29

This legendary music event features tributes to top bands from Daft Punk, to Foo Fighters and Phish and a rooftop dance party. 

 

Haunted Halloween Bar Crawls

Set off on a spooky sip and stroll in several Baltimore neighborhoods, from Fells Point to Downtown at Power Plant Live’s Monster Mash Halloween Bash
